- Injection- Injection blow molding entails two steps. The plastic, kept molten, is injected into a mold cavity with a core pin to give the resulting product a preform or parison. After being cooled slightly, the preform is taken to a blow mold whereby an air injection moves it to the final shape.
- Stretch - The stretch blow molding normally applies to PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastics and is classified into one-step or two-step blow molding. It is formed as a preform which is again reheated and stretched vertically blown into a mold horizontally.
